Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. Payment Terms
Deposit & Manufacture
As all cabinetry and cabinetry-related items are custom-made to order, a 50% deposit is required before manufacture can commence.
Production will not begin until:
the required deposit has been received; and
final plans and specifications have been approved by the purchaser in writing.
Final Balance
The final balance must be paid in full 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date.
This includes all outstanding amounts relating to cabinetry, additional items, benchtops and installation.
Non-Payment
If full payment has not been received 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery, the delivery will be cancelled and rescheduled.
A re-delivery fee may apply once all outstanding payments have been received.
2. Acceptance of Design & Quote
Purchaser Responsibility
By confirming an order, the purchaser acknowledges and accepts responsibility for ensuring that all dimensions, finishes, colours, materials and design details meet their requirements.
Scope of Works
The quotation covers only the items, quantities, sizes and specifications expressly listed or documented in the quotation and approved plans.
Any items or works not specifically included are excluded from the quoted price.
Variations
Once manufacture has commenced, variations or amendments to the order cannot be accepted.
Any amendments requested prior to manufacture must be agreed to in writing and may result in additional costs and/or changes to the scheduled delivery date.
Pricing
Quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the quotation date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Delivery & Site Access
Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timeframes are dependent on current factory production schedules and workloads at the time the order is placed.
In most cases, delivery will occur within approximately 4–5 weeks from confirmation of the order and receipt of the required deposit and approvals.
Missed or Rescheduled Deliveries
If a delivery is rescheduled after manufacture has commenced, a re-delivery fee may apply.
Where a scheduled delivery is changed within 7 working days of the confirmed delivery date, a re-delivery fee of $250 will apply for deliveries within the Adelaide metropolitan area, up to a 40 km radius.
Delivery Access
Our free delivery service is available for delivery into a cleared carport or garage only, provided there is direct, safe and unobstructed access.
No in-home delivery is available.
The purchaser is responsible for ensuring suitable and safe access is available at the time of delivery.
Storage
Following delivery, the purchaser is responsible for ensuring all products are stored in a safe, dry and insulated environment, protected from excessive heat, moisture and humidity.
Failure to store products appropriately may result in damage for which Cabnt. cannot be held responsible.
Risk & Insurance
All goods are insured against loss or damage while in transit.
Once goods have been delivered to the purchaser's nominated delivery location, the goods are at the purchaser's risk.
The purchaser, or their authorised representative, should inspect the delivery upon arrival. A signature on the carrier's delivery documentation confirms that the goods have been received and, where applicable, inspected for visible damage or shortage.
Any damage or shortage identified after delivery must be reported to Cabnt. within the timeframe specified under Section 5 – Warranty & Claims.
4. Installation & Site Conditions
Site Conditions
Cabnt. is not responsible for site-specific issues that could not reasonably be identified prior to installation and are only discovered once installation commences.
This may include, but is not limited to:
concealed electrical wiring;
plumbing or water pipes;
uneven walls or floors;
structural issues; or
other concealed site conditions.
Any additional work required as a result of unforeseen site conditions may incur additional costs.
Excluded Works
Unless specifically included in the quotation, Cabnt. is not responsible for the removal, alteration, relocation or reconnection of:
electrical wiring;
security systems or wiring;
plumbing; or
other existing services.
Licensed trades must be engaged where required by law.
Subcontracting
Cabnt. may subcontract or engage third parties to perform some or all of its obligations.
Purchasers must not directly engage, instruct or arrange additional works with Cabnt. subcontractors without prior approval from Cabnt.
Public Liability
Cabnt. maintains public liability insurance of at least $5 million.
We recommend that the purchaser also maintains appropriate insurance cover for the property and works being undertaken.
5. Warranty & Claims
Standard Warranty
A 5-year manufacturer's warranty and 12-month product warranty apply to the original purchaser, subject to these Terms and Conditions and any applicable manufacturer's warranty terms.
Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by misuse, neglect, incorrect installation, improper storage, modification, normal wear and tear, or other circumstances outside the manufacturer's control.
Defects & Right to Rectify
If a product is believed to be defective, written notification must be provided to Cabnt. within 7 days of completion or delivery, as applicable.
Where Cabnt. accepts responsibility for a defect, Cabnt. reserves the right to inspect and, where appropriate, repair, replace or otherwise rectify the affected product or component.
Third-Party Products
For products supplied by third parties, including specific hardware, appliances or accessories, Cabnt. will assist with warranty claims in accordance with the relevant manufacturer's warranty.
Cabnt. does not accept responsibility for labour or associated costs relating to the removal, access, replacement or re-installation of third-party products unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Damage Claims
Any visible damage, shortage or discrepancy must be reported to your Cabnt. representative within 24 hours of delivery.
Photographs may be requested to assist with assessment and resolution of any claim.
6. Legal & Liability
Cancellations
Cancellation of an order, or any part of an order, will not be accepted without Cabnt.'s prior written consent.
Where cancellation is approved, applicable costs, charges or other terms may apply depending on the stage of the order and whether manufacture or procurement has commenced.
Joint & Several Liability
Where there is more than one purchaser, all purchasers are jointly and severally liable for all obligations under the order.
Notice or communication provided to one purchaser will be deemed to have been provided to all purchasers, and the signature of any one purchaser will be binding on all purchasers.
7. Promotional Offers
Promotional Offer Eligibility
Unless otherwise stated, Cabnt. promotional discounts and offers require the order to include all three of the following:
Cabinetry
Panels
Benchtops
The promotional discount is calculated against the applicable retail value of the qualifying order.
Quotes and promotional offers expire 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing.
Cabnt. "25% Off Cabinets" Offer
The Cabnt. "25% Off Cabinets" promotion provides 25% off cabinetry only, provided the order also includes the relevant panels and benchtops required to complete the project in full.
The promotion is subject to manufacturing availability and any other conditions specified by Cabnt. at the time of quotation.
Securing the Promotional Offer
The promotional offer can be secured, subject to manufacturing availability, upon receipt of a 50% deposit of the total order value before the promotional offer expiry date of 30 September 2026.
Cabnt. reserves the right to withdraw or amend promotional offers where manufacturing availability, product availability or other stated promotional conditions cannot be met.
Cabnt. reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The Terms and Conditions applicable to an order are those accepted by the purchaser at the time the order is confirmed, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
