Cabnt. | Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. Payment Terms
Deposit & Manufacture: As all cabinetry related items are custom-made to order, a 50% deposit is required to commence manufacture. Production will not begin until this deposit is received.
Final Balance: Final payment is required in full 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery of your order. This includes payment for all cabinetry, additional items, benchtops, and installation costs.
Non-Payment: If payment is not received 48 hours prior to delivery, the delivery will be cancelled and rescheduled. A re-delivery fee will apply once all outstanding payments have been completed.
2. Acceptance of Design & Quote
Purchaser Responsibility: By confirming an order, the purchaser accepts full responsibility for ensuring all sizes, finishes, and designs meet their specific requirements.
Scope of Works: This quotation is for the items listed only. It does not include any other quantities, sizes, or details not expressly documented.
Variations: No variation to the order will be accepted once manufacture has commenced. Any amendments prior to manufacture must be agreed upon in writing.
Pricing: Quoted prices are fixed for 30 days from the quotation date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Delivery & Site Access
Timelines: Delivery date depends on factory workloads at the time the order is placed.
Missed or Rescheduled Deliveries: If you reschedule a delivery after manufacture, a re-delivery fee may apply.
If a scheduled delivery is missed, a re-delivery fee will apply.
Site Risks: Products are at the purchaser's risk once delivered and installed on-site.
DELIVERY : Our free delivery service for orders can only be delivered into a carport or garage with direct, safe and easy access – no in home delivery is available.
Insurance: All goods are insured against loss or damage in transit. A signature on the carrier's receipt is evidence that goods were inspected and found free from damage or shortage.
4. Installation & Site Conditions
Unforeseen Circumstances: Cabnt. is not responsible for site-specific issues revealed only during installation (e.g., electrical wiring, water pipes).
Excluded Works: We are not responsible for the removal, amendment or re-connection of electrical, security wiring, or plumbing.
Subcontracting: We may sub-contract our obligations. You must not give instructions to or directly employ our subcontractors for further works without our approval.
Public Liability: We maintain public liability insurance of at least $5m and recommend that you are similarly insured.
5. Warranty & Claims
Standard Warranty: A 5 year manufactures warranty and 12-month product warranty applies to the original purchaser, subject to these terms. No liability is accepted for damage resulting from misuse.
Right to Fix: If a product is claimed to be defective, written notice must be provided within 7 days of completion. If we accept responsibility, we reserve the right to rectify the defect.
Third-Party Products: For failures involving third-party products (e.g., specific hardware or appliances), Cabnt. will support the replacement per the manufacturer’s warranty. However, we do not provide or reimburse for labour or associated costs related to the removal or re-installation of these items.
Damage Claims: Please inform your Cabnt. representative within 24 hours of delivery regarding any product damage.
6. Legal & Liability
Cancellations: Cancellation of the contract (or part thereof) will not be accepted without our written consent and may be subject to stipulated terms.
Joint and Several Liability: If there is more than one purchaser, all obligations are joint. Notice given to one party is deemed notice to all, and one signature binds all parties.
